The beginning of the entries
I come to write my thoughts. Many things on the mind today. I've had a not-quite headache for most of it. My head doesn't actually ache, but every sound is too loud. Silence is too loud. I've had to wear my headphones while in my own house, by myself, dead quiet. Because it's too loud. Painful. Not fun. Dull. Can't even listen to music because it's a sound and it hurts. Can you believe this shit?
Reading is quite nice. It's quiet, save from the turning of pages, but that didn't really bother me. I was wearing my headphones while I read, though, so maybe it would have bothered me without them. But reading is more peaceful than videos or music. Just you and words. I'm reading "Artemis" by Andy Weir currently. the worldbuilding is very well done, I'm excited to continue it.
It's been a while since I've been out and about. I usually really only wake up at home, but the other day I got to see an interactive art exhibit for a little bit. Mostly a hallway, but there was art in it! It counts! The cooler stuff was somewhat overstimulating and I went away again, kind of a bummer but from what I heard everything was very loud and disgusting from other patrons climbing all over everything. Maybe next time will be somewhere quieter. I like being out and about, I like talking to people, I just never seem to get the chance to. Can't remember the last person I've met outside my roommates (who I'll introduce soon!)
This summer has been pretty dull overall. I've mostly been working (or so I'm told). I haven't gone on any big trips or anything. Played DND, took a few summer classes, read some, wrote some, pretty basic stuff. And I played Deltarune! :D
(SPOILERS AHEAD)
I really love Deltarune. My roommate Way loves it too, but (by his own admission) not as much as me >:3 I love the designs for the flowers and how they mirror the human souls from Undertale. The music from the new chapter is just banger after banger. The "taking too long" fight is hilarious and I loved it even though it took me wayyy to many tries to beat it. (also as much as I love Deltarune I don't think Tenna should have won tumblr sexyman it should've been Senshi and I don't even watch Dungeon Menshi. Grace is cool and I love Project Hail Mary but I don't think he should have won either and it was honestly wild to me that he was a finalist lol. (Nothing against Grace! Just don't get it lmao)

My roomates

Tea is chill, levelheaded, and has a very dry sense of humor combined with impeccable comedic timing. He's got long hair (very important detail) and a signature collection of sweaters that rival Way's. All in all a pretty cool guy 10/10
Bear is Tea's identical twin. They're easy to tell apart though, Bear has short hair and is more temperamental than his brother. Still he's pretty chill and he gets pretty protective not just of his younger twin but of all of us, it's honestly kinda sweet even though I'm older than him lmao.
Em is a sweetheart. Pretty quiet and nonverbal, scares easy, and she has some difficulty with regulation but with some help she's okay. She's my little sister and she's been through a lot so we all take turns staying with her and helping her with whatever she needs. She loves to draw and hangs out with Boo quite a bit for that reason. Bear is extra protective of her and she seems to calm down the quickest with him around.
Boo is energetic and loves life. I'm pretty extroverted and upbeat, but next to Boo I look like an asocial pessimist in comparison. They love to draw and share their art with Em. Even the most mundane thing in the world is fascinating to Boo. We were at work and Boo came in and was excited just to go upstairs and get restock. Nothing is too small to be cherished in Boo's eyes, and honestly I think that's wonderful. Absolute ray of sunshine.
Way is who I've known the longest. He's also goth, so we bond over that. He loves music and we collaborate on playlists often. He claims his life is boring but he always has some batshit thing happening and I get to hear the absolutely wild lore.
Rye. Anxious boi. Terrified always. He moved in very recently and is either quiet or panicking so I personally don't actually know that much about him, but hopefully we can talk more soon. We've been slowly trying to get him to join the emotional regulation group with Em and Boo like new cats that must be acquianted with each other.
Six is Rye's older brother, helps him calm down and stay grounded. Six himself is pretty quiet, but he's really nice. I think they have a third brother, they've mentioned him in passing (I think accidentally) but don't actually talk about him. I don't press because it's not my business but I am curious.
Za is the last roommate willing to be included on here. He's mute and loves birds. Acts very birdlike. He quietly takes care of things that need done like an executive function ninja. He and Em bond over their communication differences and like to just chill in the quiet.
I might add more to this later, but for now it's 3am lmao, goodnight!
